CAMPAIGN COMMUNICATIONS

University of Alaska Foundation

The University of Alaska Foundation has raised more than $250 million in its first multi-campus campaign. Fifty million dollars over the goal, the campaign continues through June 2024.

Hammock Communications helped the foundation prepare for the campaign in several ways:

  • MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS ASSESSMENT. We assessed how well the three marcom teams supported development and alumni relations. Our partner White Rock Consulting audited development functions simultaneously. We put our findings together for a cohesive report and recommendations for improvements.

  • INTEGRATED ADVANCEMENT TRAINING. Beth Hammock led a workshop on integrated advancement for the University of Alaska-Fairbanks development and marketing communications teams.

  • CASE STATEMENTS. We researched and developed a case for support for a lead project on the Fairbanks campus, the Troth Yeddha’ Indigenous Studies Initiative.

  • RESOURCE ALLOCATION. Beth was an advisor to a University of Alaska-Fairbanks task force charged with cutting 25% of the marketing budget. She found fat in the budget to trim without cutting the already-slim staff.
