DEVELOPMENT WRITING

AD

Trust us for writing that engages, inspires, and honors your donors

We support educational institutions and nonprofits with writing for every need including campaign communications, publications, websites, white papers, and press releases.

Beth also supports thought leaders with white papers, donor letters, and opinion articles. She wrote this column about racism for Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois CEO Loretta Graham after the George Floyd murder in 2020. Media outlets across St. Louis and Southern Illinois ran the column and Graham was interviewed on radio and TV.

Website content to build your brand

Websites filled with stories are a critical part of donor communications. Stories engage donors, keep them on your site longer, and increase the chance they will make it to your online giving page.

Beth Hammock created the content plan for website redesigns for Mizzou Advancement, the University of Montana Foundation, and Cottey College. She visualizes how the site will flow, where the videos and images will be, and what the viewer wants to find. She also writes for search engine optimization (SEO).

Blog post writing for thought leadership

Advancement leaders rely on us for blogging that gets results. Why blog? Prospective donors are more likely to find you when they search on Google or Bing when you’re blogging. You also will become more recognized in your field when blogging and building brand loyalty among your current constituents.

The process for blogging with our help goes like this:

  • You work with us to choose a topic. We will get you started with our ideas.

  • You give us information you have about the topic.

  • We research the topic online including key phrase research to see which will get you the most views.

  • We write a post of 600 to 900 words using the key phrases we identified. The post will include internal and external links, per blogging best practices.

  • You review the post, then we make any changes you request.

  • Your team posts the content on your website or we post it if you prefer.

  • You have the satisfaction of knowing you are telling your story online in a strategic and compelling way.
